02 March. 2016 – Al Najah Swimming team represented Lebanon in the best way possible at the International Muscat Tournament in Oman, with the talented players grabbing 6 gold medals 2 silver medals!
This competition has been an annual destination for the Lebanese club, as our local swimmers compete alongside more than 500 swimmers from 22 clubs out of 9 arabic countries. Sarah Abd El Baki and Jude Boud Karroum were the representatives of Al Najah there, and their domination in the races was evident as they combined for 8 medals.
First, Sarah participated in the 50m, 200m and 400m freestyle, in addition to the 50m, 200m backstroke and 400m multi swims, in which she got 5 gold medals and 1 silver.
On the other hand, Jude grabbed a gold medal in the 400m freestyle and a silver medal in 50m freestyle.
Also, Sarah got the silver cup as she was second highest with points in her age category.
