16 Aug. 2015 – The 5th round of the Rotax Max challenge – Lebanese Championship in Karting that was held in Pit Stop, Zouk Mikael, has come to an end.
In this 5th round, Christopher RIZK came out first, his fourth first place over 5 races which allow him to lead his Totax Junior Max category with 205 points.
Samer MATTAR who was 2nd in his Rotax MAx Category won the firth race to overcome Matthias NJEIM and lead with 194 points. Matthias NJEIM now stands in second position only 3 points away from Samer with 194 points. In third position stands Joey HAJJ who started last and finished second in this race collecting 142 points.
Samer also won the Rotax Max DD2 race, but is ranked second in this category after Patrick NJEIM who won 2/5 races and has 190 points in his favor.
Charbel YAMMIN won the 5th Race of the Rotax Mini Max category but is ranked 3rd overall with 88 points, Jay NAAMEH is leading his category with two wins and 110 points. In second place comes Jazz FAUCON with 99 points after one win.
In the Rotax Micro Max category, the winner of yesterday’s race, Khalil KHALIL is ranked last with 33 points and the leader of this category hasn’t won any race since the beginning of this challenge but collected the highest points: 80 points!
Nothing is yet impossible, everything can happen during the three coming races that may change the standings!
