15 Mar. 2016 – Our Lebanese Muai Thai Champion Ahmad ONDASH was able to grab a gold medal at the World Championship Muai Boran that is held during the International Muai Thai Martial Arts Games in Bangkok, Thailand.
His teammate Youssef ABBOUD was also able to grab a bronze medal in the same championship! Both of them teamed up in game doubles to win a silver medal for Lebanon! The championship started on the 12th of March and will end on the 22nd.
Sami KABLAWI, the president of the Arab and Lebanese federation and the president of Shogun club, led the Lebanese delegation to these achievements. Five other Lebanese fighters were able to make it to the finals in their respective categories: Louay KABLAOUI, Rocky KABLAOUI, Ramy HAMED, Kasem AL KHATIB and Julie FIRSO.
We’re expecting more medals for Lebanon with our 5 fighter who will be playing the finals on Wednesday, March 16!
