21 March. 2016 – The 2016 Women WABA Tournament could not start in a possibly better way for the Lebanese teams, as Homenetmen crushed Sariyet Ramallah Palestine 114-42 while Riyadi eased to a 69-49 win against the home team Orthodox!
Both Lebanese teams have signed foreign players to help them win the tournament, and it seems they are the tournament’s heavy favorites.
Let’s hope one of them will end up winning WABA 2016, as we always love seeing the Lebanese flag at the top of all international competitions!
