16 Apr. 2016- Nacif ELIAS won a silver medal today in the asian judo championship that was held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan to add 240 points to his rank and closes more to the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
Nacif defeated Farhod RAHIMOV from Tajikistan in his opening fight, Yakhio IMAMOV from Uzbekistan in his 2nd fight, Saeid MOLLAEI from Iran in the semifinals and unfortunately lost to Degvasuren NYAMSUREN from Mangolia in the final.
Nacif ELIAS is now close more than ever to the Olympic games after this tournament by reaching the 23rd place in the World Judo ranking list of his category.
