23 Apr. 2016 – The Lebanese Age Group Championship for the Kids (10-11), Bantam (12-13) and Midget (14-15) categories started on Thursday 21st, and is continuing until Saturday 23rd of April 2016. More than 600 athletes took part in this championship where seven new records has been set by our young and talented athletes.

Mayssa MOUAWAD (CSJ) ran the 60 meters in 8.16 seconds! An amazing performance that allowed her to break Lea OBEID’s Bentam record of 8.22 seconds! She also set a new record yesterday in High Jump clearing 1.50 meters perfectly!
Mira IBRAHIM (Champville) set a new Midget record in the javelin throw 500g with 26.52 meters! Ronald KASSAB (CSJ) broke the triple jump record jumping 11.88 meters. Karl RIZK (Champville) finished behind him with 11.78m!
Willian YAMMIN (Champville) broke the High jump Kids record jumping 1.26m. His teammate Sara GHOSTIN (Champville) set a new Bantam record in Javelin throw with 23.26 meters and in the boys’s category Bassam BOUSTANI (Champville) set a new Javelin record of 32.55 meters!
Finally, Lynn AZAR (Champville), Farah TAYYAR (CSJ) and Clara NASSOUR (Champville), all jumped the triple jump record scoring repesctively 9.72m, 9.69m and 9.26m. The previous record was 9.11 meters for Farah.
