29 Apr. 2016 – Maan Loubnan is organizing the 7th Edition of Tripoli Half Marathon Race on Sunday, May 8, to support children with cancer.
The race is supported by the Minister of sports and education as well as BankMed and supervised by the Lebanese athletics Federation.
The Half Marathon equals 21.1km and is open to all the age categories and for both gender. Disable athletes will also have the chance to take part in this race; a category for wheelchairs is on schedule as well.
Elite runners who are above 14 years of age will have a 7km run. Fun runners will also have a 7km fun run and finally kids who are above 13 years of age will also have a 3km run.
Rabih LADKANI, the president of Maan Loubnan Association, invited everyone from the different regions of Lebanon to take part in this race noting that the registration is being held in Spinneys Tripoli, in Mahames Al Amin, in Rachid Karame Exibition and in the office of the Association.
Finally, LADKANI thanked the minister of Sports and BankMed for their support in making the race happen!
