02 May 2016 – A strong and very dedicated woman decided to pick up a challenge in 2015. She successfully completed 250km in the desert of China and finished third overall and first in her age group category!
Kathia RACHED is really an example for all of us with her perseverance and endurance, not only in running but also in life. We can proudly announce that after three days of running 40 km every day, Kathia is now first overall! She just completed half the challenge, three more days to go for the finish line!
She was the first to arrive to the third camp in 5 hours 22 minutes. Max Mariash KOUDELE from the United states finished 5 minutes after Kathia! The competition is on!! Finishing the race is an achievement in itself, if Kathia wins it, it will be incredible!
The most difficult day is the 5th where she will have to do double the distance; 80km running with her 10km bag on her back!! So let’s support her in these three more days hoping she will keep the lead and finish first in the desert of Namibia!
Katia raised the flag high in Asia, now she will hopefully raise the Lebanese flag in Africa! Will her next target be to run an Ultra Marathon in each continent? Well, for this strong woman nothing is impossible!
