10 May 2016 – Mechmech Club grabbed the Lebanese title of the 3rd division Volleyball league after defeating Al Fidar Club in a very tough game that ended in 3-2!
The final game between the two teams was being held in Amchit. The game ended in 3-2: 23-25, 25-17, 19-25, 25-23 and finally 15-17! Charnel DERGHAM and Said KABRIYANOS were the two referees who supervised this final game.
At the end, the president of the Lebanese Olympic Committee and the president of the Lebanese Volleyball federation Jean HAMMAM distributed the awards for the winners with Rabih FARRAJ, a member of the federation.
With such performance, Mechmech club and Al Fidar Club are now qualified for the 2nd division!
