02 Jun. 2016 – Hannah SALIBA, the former Lebanese Riyadi player who plays basketball in the United States just signed with University of Mary.

“Well for University of Mary they gave me a full scholarship, its an ncaa D2 everything paid for,” said Hannah SALIBA.

The Lebanese forward, was a two-year starter in the front court at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, California. SALIBA was a team captain for the Gauchos. As a sophomore in 2015-16, she averaged 8.6 points/game, 8.0 rebounds/game and 0.9 assists/game while shooting 42 percent from the floor and registered four double doubles.

Eight times she reached double digits in points while posting double digit rebound totals ten times, including season-high 16. She started all 24 games she appeared in. As a freshman for Saddleback in 2014-15, Saliba started 15 of 29 games and averaged 2.1 PPG, 5.0 RPG and 0.7 APG, according to the University of Mary.

“Hannah is someone we started recruiting this spring and we hope she will provide us much needed depth at the post position,” said Marauders head coach Rick Neumann. “Considering we only return one true post player that saw minutes last season Hannah will have a great chance to contribute right away. She is a very good athlete and has nice touch out to 15 feet. Her size and athleticism will really add to our roster.”

“After going through the exhausting recruiting process, I have decided to commit to University of Mary in North Dakota. Blessed and thankful for the scholarship & the people that helped me get it!” She announced on her Facebook account.

Congrats!
