08 June. 2016 – The Lebanese fencing federation organized the 2016 fencing cup (foil) for both men and women at Mont La Salle.
More than 35 fencers were participating and representing Mont La Salle, Lebanese Army, Taadod and Jamhour.
In the men’s category, Chafic Khoury from the Lebanese Army won the title after defeating his teammate in the Army Raed Bou Karoum. Giorgio Daou (Mont La Salle) and Tanios Attallah (Lebanese Army) finished third.
On the other hand, in the women’s category, Rita Abou Jaoude from Taadod won the title with a final win against her teammate in the club Victoria Haikal. Third place was shared by Laure El Masri from Mont La Salle and Elise Bloomridge from Taadod.
