09 June. 2016 – Al Safa’s goalkeeper Mahdi Khalil, who’s contract ends at the end of this month, will head to Germany in order to undergo try outs for 2nd division clubs and perhaps kick start a career in Europe!
This chance has been given to Mahdi by Roda Antar who previously promised to help him in such opportunities and Roda will be going with Khalil to Germany!
Let’s hope our national goalkeeper will find a club there and start climbing to higher levels in Europe!
