01 Sep. 2015 – Following 2 consecutive defeats in the Step Ahead summer league, ProAm and Frank Wurst managed to score their first victory on the third day of competition.
First, ProAm defeated Cisco 93-87, but only got 2 points out of the game due to winning the final quarter and game, while Cisco won all three first quarters. Elie Chamoun was ProAm’s best player with 19 points from which 15 came from behind the arc. Karl Assi also added 12 points. From the losing team, Nathan Walker was the best player scoring 17 points and Ziad El Ali helped with 15.
On the other hand, Frank Wurst finally got its first victory in the tournament against Y.A Jewellery, 99-57, helped by Rabih Dib’s 21 points and Mark Korjian’s 19. From the losing team Johnny Lattouf scored 16 points and Michael Crane added 10. Moreover, Frank Wurst got all 5 points from the game, winning all quarters.
