25 Jul. 2016 – The Lebanese table tennis federation organized the 2016 summer cup at Mont La Salle, with Lebanon’s best players participating.
In the women’s category, Mariana Sahakian (Nadwa Komatiya) overcame Laeticia Azar (Adab wa Riyada) who’s one of the youngest participants! The youngster indeed made a great run to the final but lost against Sahakian 3-1 (4-11 15-13 6-11 12-14). Third place meanwhile was shared by Noel Keshishian (Homenetmen Beirut) & Patricia Homsi (Adab wa Riyada).
On the other hand, in the men’s category, Mohamad Hamieh (Nadwa Komatiye) defeated Joseph Chalhoub (Fadi Al Akdas) with a final score of 3-1. Rachid El Boubou (Riyadi Beirut) & Ahmad Mustafa Harb (Lebanese Army) finished third.
