That’s what the players and technical staff said after the end of FIBA U18 Asia

01 Aug. 2016- Lebanese basketball U18 national team ended the U18 FIBA Asia championship in 4th place, after the exceptional performance of our team in the group stage we were expecting to book a place in the world. But reaching the 4th place is already considered as an achievement for the players who barely had the chance to train and prepare together.

After the end of the tournament, the players and technical staff shared their expressions on social media. Here’s what they said:

Joe Moujaes – Coach:

My journey have reached to an end with LebNTU18, #ourpride. I failed two golden chances to reach the World Cup u19. On the other hand I gained a generation of warriors that in no time will be our nations superstars. Allow me to thank the following. FLB@federationlebanaisebasketball, Ramy Fawaz @iam_rf, coaches Charbel Bash, Sevag Ketenjian @ketenjian_sevag and Charles Khalife @charleskhalifept and elie Maroun @eliemaroun23 and @stepahead_ with Dr. Jihad Haddad, Tony Jantoyian @tony.jountoyan and all the players #warriors who put a lot of effort for their flag. Finally allow me to thank some players who were with us but didn’t travel to Iran. Dany Khoury, Jad Laheeb, William Sawan, and Sharbel Saad. To another challenge I go. Finally my family especially my wife @nayla_amm who sacrificed a lot and lot for my success. #myjourneyisover for another challenge.
