02 Sep. 2015- Lebanon will start its journey to the 2016 AFC Futsal Championship in the same group with Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Jordan.
The quailifiers will be held on the 1st-3rd of October with the participation of 7 national teams divided into 2 groups. Malaysia will host the West Asian qualifiers for the second time since 2013 as none of the countries in the region has submitted a bid to host it.
