08 Aug. 2016 – The Lebanese villages basketball tournament organized by Sports Mania has started, with 16 teams competing! Games are being played at Beit Mery court with the town’s municipality helping in the organization. Here are the results of the first round:

Bzebdine 75-47 Ain Saade
Deir El Kamar 86-66 Kornet Chahwan
Group C:
Beit Mery veterans 56-52 Kornayel
Bteghrine 58-47 Ballouneh
Group D:
Kobeiyat 50-41 Himlaya
Chahim 60-42 Abdelali
Two teams from each group will qualify to the quarter finals as the competition continues this week and the next one.
