18 Aug. 2016 – The Amman international tennis tournament, which is an ITF grade 5 competition, is currently taking place with Lebanese athletes participating! To our, delight, many of those players made it to the semi finals, in the doubles category.
First, Yara Fayssal partnered with Ksenia Mykhaylova (Russia) and they defeated Mouna Bouzgarou / Mayssa Tebourbi in the quarter finals 6-3 6-4.
Secondly, Tamim Hallak teamed up with Moussa Kotob (Jordan) overcaming Youssef Sader and Mohamad Khalil in 2 sets, 7-5 6-1.
Yara will now face opponents from Morocco in the semi finals while Tamim and his partner will face 2 players from Tunisia & Egypt.
