22 Aug. 2016 – Palma basketball academy, managed by Omar El Turk, came back from Turkey where they were holding a training camp. The duration of their stay was 4 days, where they resided at a sports complex village that included all facilities, restaurants… to accommodate the players.
During the camp and in addition to daily training sessions, the academy’s team played against the champions of the Asian part of Istanbul and won. Moreover, they also faced Galatasaray’s youth team but lost this one.
The experience was no doubt great as it was the first time Palma’s academy goes out of Lebanon.
