11 Sep. 2016 – For months, people have been waiting for the game of legends where a host of football’s most prestigious international legends were facing a group of Lebanese football legends. That game took place yesterday, at Fouad Chehab Stadium in Jounieh in front of thousands of enthusiastic fans. But, at the end, there was criticism from a large number of fans who thought that both sides took the game too seriously.
Both teams were indeed playing aggressively, arguing with the referee and doing their best to stop the opponent. This was not very pleasant to watch, as the fans were awaiting a much more entertaining show, especially from the international legends. Maybe the game should have been more of an All Stars game where cool tricks take place, beautiful plays and much less defense.
Also, there was complaint about how closed the access to the international stars was. The fans did not gave access to pictures or autographs with the legends.
