06 Oct. 2016- After singing 2 key players, Bassel Bawji and Mazen Mneimne alongside young talents, Coach Ghassan Sarkis has built his team for this season and Champville‘s target is definitely more than the final 4 this year.
But, for the first time in 12 years, Karl Sarkis wont play under the supervision of his father Ghassan.
Here are Coach Ghassan’s touching words after his son’s departure : ” No one has given Champville club and Champville fans more than Karl, only Elie Mchantaf and Ismail Ahmad have played for their clubs for longer periods. Karl gave his heart to his club with his fighting spirit, team spirit, leadership. Karl created the Wolf Pack, he kept fighting & motivating his Wolf Teammates, never wanted to lose, he was a big part & the heart of the wolf pack.. His loyalty to Champville Basketball Commitment angered the haters.. Karl Gunman you will be definitely missed.. Big Respect from the coach who always believed in your LEADERSHIP.”
