09 Oct. 2016 – Yesterday, Al Riyadi grabbed its first win at the FIBA Asia Champions Cup after defeating Al Rayyan from Qatar 92-78. The Qatari opponents are one of the good teams in the group so the win was very important for the Lebanese club.
Here are the standings of their group at the championship.
The other teams are also not to be taken easily, especially Petrochimi who are title contenders. Let’s hope Riyadi can end up first in the group to get a favorable draw in the next rounds.
