10 Sep. 2015 – The Club Sportif de Jamhour Tennis tournament has come to an end. The tournament was supervised by the Lebanese Tennis Federation and was divided into age group categories.
In the boys under 10 category A, Nadim ASMAR won over George BAYDAN in 5-4, 5-3, while in the B category, Karl SAYEGH won over Liam ABI CHDID in 4-2, 5-3. In the under 12 years category, Edward LAHOUD defeated Christopher SAYEGH in 6-1, 6-3. In the under 14 category, Jalal SADEK won over Raoul YABECK in 7-5, 6-3.
In the men’s under 16, Cyril GEHCHAN defeated Karim SLAIBY in 3-6, 7-5, 10,6. While in the under18, Hazem NAOU won his match against Michel SAADE with the absence of the latest. In the 45+ category, Elie NASSIF defeated Georges KABALAN in a game of three sets: 6-4, 3-6, 10-8!
Now in the women’s categories, Yara MADY won in the under 10 category against Marianne BARBARIAN in three sets: 4-10, 10-6, 10-7. In the under 12, Maria BREIDI won over Maria HAYECK in 6-1, 6-3.
Nour DIB who is still under 14, participated in two categories and won both the under 14 and under 16 years! She already showed how talented she is by facing the Seniors! In this tournament, she faced Maria BREIDI who also participated in two categories (Won the under 12!) in 6-2, 6-1, and in the under 16, she won over Sara NASSIF in 6-4, 6-1.
Sara NASSIF also participated in the under 18 category, and was defeated by Ghada BATOUR in 5-3 before she withdraw from the game.
Both Judges, Raghed GHAZALI and Mario BREIHI lead the final matches.
