13 Oct. 2016 – With 3 wins out of 3 games so far in the FIBA Asia Champions Cup, Al Riyadi secured the rather easy path to the finals as they will avoid Iran and China’s teams. Their huge performance in the first round games is largely due to Wael Arakji, who took Asia by storm and established himself as one of the best so far.

At such a young age, Arakji was able to match foreign players and even put in better numbers with high shooting percentages while playing a large number of minutes. Let’s hope he can keep it up because Riyadi will need at his best in the knockout games.
