14 Oct. 2016- Ray Bassil, the Lebanese champion grabbed 4th place at the 2016 ISSF World Cup in Rome to end her world cup season with a great result. Ray competed against olympic medalists and the top athletes in the sport.
Ray was qualified to the semi-final of the tournament after hitting 68/75 targets in 3 rounds. In the first round she scored 23/25, the second round was her lowest, with 21/25 made shots and in the last round she managed to hit 24/25 to secure 5th place.
In the semi-finals Ray managed to shoot 11/15 targets, only 2 targets behind the leader and 1 target behind the second place to compete against Corey Cogdell for the 3rd place but unfortunately our champion lost by 2 targets 10/12.
