15 Oct. 2016- A friendly game between Tadamon and Champville took place today at Nouhad Nawfal Stadium.
Tadamon grabbed the win and ended the first half leading by 24 pts (58 – 34).
However, things changed during the second half, where Champville reduced the gap to 10 points only and ended the 3rd quarter (74 – 64). The game became very close in the last quarter when Champville were down by 1 point only with 3 minutes left on the clock (85 – 84).
Finally, the last minutes of the game were very crucial for Tadamon who won (94 – 85)
Champville’s best scorer was Brandon Thomas with 33 points 3 assists and 4 rebounds. As for Tadamon, their best player was Earvin Morris.
It is worth mentioning that Youssef Ghantous, the skilled point guard, was the best Lebanese player for Champville with 8 points, 5 assists and 6 rebounds in 20 minutes only. Even at a very young age, he has shown a great sense of leadership and proved that he can carry the team on his shoulders. The future seems bright ahead of Youssef and our other Lebanese youngsters.
This upcoming season will definitely be on fire.
