21 Oct. 2016 – The 8th edition of the Francophonie Games (Jeux de la Francophonie) will be held in Abidjan, Ivory Coasts, from the 21st to the 30th of July 2017.
The following athletics qualification standards should be done from the first of June 2016 to the 30th of April 2017.
Each delegation may enter a maximum of three 3 athletes per event if these athletes have met the Qualification standards. Any country can have a team of four athletes, two female and two male athletes who have not achieved the qualification standards.
Athletes under 18 cannot take part in the competitions. They should be turned 18 before the 1st of January 2017.
