25 Oct. 2016 – The Lebanese cycling federation organized the 2016 “Zadourian Brothers” race, from Nahr El Mot to Baabdat which equals a distance of 11.5 kilometers.
Thirty four cyclists were participating in the annual event, each in a respective age group category. Overall, it was Abdullah Al Ar who grabbed first place by clocking 36 minutes and 35 seconds, ahead of Milo Daou who was 1 minute and 22 seconds late. Third place meanwhile went to Hosep Kanladjian who was 3 minutes and 25 seconds behind Abdullah.
The record is still held by the Lebanese champion Elias Abou Rachid who did it in 34 minutes and 32 seconds. Abou Rachid did not participate this year as he left for France 2 months ago to continue studying.
In the girls category, Farah Al Helwani crossed the distance in 58 minutes and 59 seconds.
