31 Oct. 2016 – The 2016 Lebanese Football League is on fire, with many teams competing for first place and very few points separating them. This week, Salam Zgharta suffered a big blow by losing their second consecutive game, with a score of 0-6 against Al Safa.
These results halted their march in the league, as they fell behind Al Ahed by 1 point despite the fact that the latter played 1 less game.
Al Ansar meanwhile defeated Al Sahel 3-2 to move up to third in the standings, 1 point away from Salam and 2 from Ahed.
Moreover, Nejmeh won their second game under the guidance of newly appointed Jamal El Hajj, 3-0 against Al Egtymaai.
