15 Sep. 2015 – The Lebanese Fencing Federation organizing a training course for the coaches in Epee under the supervision of the Mediterranean Fencing Federation represented by the French coach Jerome ROUSSA. Coaches from Lebanon, Syria and Jordan took part in this course.
The training course took place in Emile LAHOUD Sports Hall in Dekwane, Mar Roukoz, from 7 to 12 September 2015, where coach ROUSSA also trained the Lebanese elite athletes of this sport!
At the end, the president of the Lebanese Fencing Federation and the vice president of the Mediterranean Fencing Federation, Ziad CHOUEIRI and the general Georges EL HADD, head of the Lebanese Army sports department, both distributed the certificates to the participants.
CHOUEIRI thanked ROUSSA for his efforts and the precious advices he gave to the athletes and coaches, he also thanked the Mediterranean Federation for choosing Lebanon to host this training course despite the unstable situation that Lebanon and the region os facing at the moment. He finally thanked the French federation for choosing ROUSSA to come and train our coaches.
