01 Nov. 2016 – Karen Dagher, Romy Lawand, Nelly Nassar and Daniella Fayad represented LIU Lebanon at the Arab Women’s 3×3 Basketball Tournament that was held in Sharjah.
On the first day of the tournament, our team defeated Algeria in their first game, lost their second against Jordan and won their third against Egypt.
During the second day, they lost their first game which was crucial for the qualification for the next round. They lost the first two games, and won the next two. They ended in 7th place over 17 Arab teams.
It was certainly a great experience for our four players who were accompanied by Yasser El Hajj throughout the tournament.
