16 Sep. 2015- Lebanon was represented by 9 shooters in the 2015 World Shooting Championship who competed in trap and double trap category. Unfortunately none of our athletes reach the finals but they surely represented our country in the best way possible.
Here’s the results of our shooters at the world championship:
Double Trap (Men):
Wissam El Khalil secured the 39th place in the qualifications with a score of 128 points.
Elias Kehdi, who was also competing in this category secured the 53rd place scoring 122 points.
Trap (Men):
3 Lebanese shooters were competing in this category, Alain Moussa was best Lebanese in this category ranked 47th with 115 points in the qualifications, Walid Najjar secured the 111th place with 108 points, Marcel Tawile secured 141st place with 105 points.
Trap juniors (Men):
3 Lebanese shooters were competing in this category, Edmond Jalkh scored 110 points to secure the 21st place, Patrick Akoury with his 107 points was ranked 34th and Mark Breidy scored 87 points to secure the 80th place.
Trap (Women):
Ray Bassil secured the 64th place scoring 60 points from 3 rounds.
