12 Nov.2016– Sagesse made their first appearance today in the Arab Basketball Club Championship playing against Al Fateh from Saudi Arabia. However, the outcome was not in their favor as they lost to an organized Fateh side 79-75.
Sagesse fought bravely to try and grab the win but the Saudi team had other plans. Fateh were the better side with 61% success rate from behind the arc to deny Terell Stoglin and his team-mates their first win.
Terrell had an incredible shooting night, scoring 41 points from the total 75. He had valuable help from both Sabah Khoury and Mohammad Ibrahim on both sides of the floor. It was obvious the team lacked a bit of chemistry with two new imports included in the team and many essential players leaving the Green Castle.
Their next game will be tomorrow at 4 PM Beirut Time against Sporting from Egypt.
