16 Nov. 2016 – Our Football National team is preparing for the Qualification of the Asian Cup that will be held in UAE in 2019, through friendly games.
They faced Jordan in one of the friendly games in Amman, that ended in a draw (0-0). But our national coach described the game as equal and serious from both teams. He added that our team is still in the preparation phase for the qualifications so it was a good experience for him.
Coach Miodrag Radulovic pointed out the excellent grass on the field that we miss in Lebanon, as well as the advantage of the Lebanese team in the first half.
Radulovic also revealed that he wishes for more than one group in the draw for the Asian Qualification, and questioned the fact that the draw is scheduled for December instead of October or November. Therefore, they have less opportunities to play friendly games and less training camps which will directly affect the players’ training and preparations.
