Laeticia Aoun Wins a BRONZE Medal at the 2016 WTF World Taekwondo Junior Championships!

19 Nov. 2016 – The Lebanese taekwondo fighter Laeticia Aoun has made a nation proud by grabbing a bronze medal at the 2016 World Championship!

Despite the fact that it’s only her first year as a junior, Laeticia had previously traveled a lot. Her efforts were not in vain as she beat some of the world’s top fighters to grab her well-deserved medal.

First, she defeated Germany 8-5 to then crush Peru 8-1 before overcoming Spain 5-1.

Later on, in the quarter finals she defeated France 5-1 but she then lost in the semi finals against Russia 8-10, earning herself a place among the elite.

Well done Laeticia, we are very proud of you and we are sure that the best is yet to come.

It is such a pride to see our Lebanese athlete shine on the international scene!
