23 Nov. 2016 – Our superwoman, Kathia Rached, was surpassed by only one woman in the second stage Antartica Ultra Marathon Challenge that is part of the 4 Deserts, .
Our fellow compatriot is the first Arab woman to take part in this challenge, and will most likely be the first Arab Woman to complete the four deserts. She improved her ranking from 8th to 7th overall after the second round.
Kathia crossed 75.8km after the first stage and in the second one, she completed 45km, bringing her tally to 120.8km. 7km separate her from the American Jax Mariash, currently number one female runner.
