23 Nov. 2016 – Our Lebanese basketball team represented by AUL sails to the semi-final of the FISU 3×3 Basketball World University Championship in Xiamen, China.
Our team won 3 games and lost one against China to qualify for the quarter final where Elio Abi Saleh, Bilal Nazha, Georges Ive Daaboul and Samir Khoury teamed up to defeat Thailand in 18-14 points therefore secured a place in the semi-final.
Their next game is against Mongolia on the the 24th of Novembre at 5:10 PM. If they win, they will advance to the final which is scheduled on the same day at 8:00 PM. If they loose, they will play the bronze medal match at 6:50 PM.
