24 Nov. 2016 – Our Rio 2016 Olympic Judoka, Nacif Elias, won the Brazilian Judo Tournament in the -90kg category.
The Lebanese Olympian won more than 5 games in a row before defeating in the final the former World champion in this category, the Brazilian Camilio Thiago, who represented Brazil at the 2016 Summer Olympic Games.
During his Olympic participation in Rio de Janeiro, the Brazilian supporter cheered for Nacif Elias who is a Rio Citizen. He not only got the support of the Lebanese but all the home crowd was also behind him.
Nacif Elias is very well known and respected in Brazil. We are proud of the Lebanese champion who is well known for his attitude before his successful career!
