28 Nov. 2016 – AYC Futsal School tournament took place in the AUB courts on the 26th and 27th of November with 6 teams participating in 2 categories.
The finals and semi finals were played yesterday and the results came as follows:
Category 2002/2003 ; 2003/2004:
- Semi Final 1: Wellspring vs. GBES (No show) Wellspring wins and qualifies to the Final.
- Semi-Final 2: Immaculee 8 – 11 Elite Elite qualifies to the Final
- Final: Elite 7 – 1 Wellspring
Elite grab the title of this category with Mehdi (Wellspring) clinching the Best GK award
Category 99/2000:
- Final: Sagesse Beirut 7 – 2 CSC Gemmayze
Sagesse are the winners of the first category with Christopher Saade (Elite) grabbing the best scorer award, Fares Zoubeir (Wellspring) best coach and James Bassil (Sagesse Beirut) best player award. Nehme Hanna also from Sagesse Beirut was the best GK.
