29 Nov. 2016 – Hoops Sports Club organized a Badminton tournament at its own courts in Beirut, under the patronage of the Lebanese federation and with the participation of 57 players. Those participants were from the following clubs: Mont La Salle, Jamhour, Tahrir and Hoops.
First, in the males category, Jalal Aalwan grabbed the gold medal by defeating Alfred Francis 2-0 (15-7 15-10).
Secondly, in the females category, 1st place went to Danie Mortada who beat Rosie Rizk 2-1 (15-7 9-15 15-7) in the final game.
