21 Sep. 2015 – According to the rules and regulations of football in Lebanon, the Lebanese football federation imposed heavy sanctions on 3 players and 3 clubs!
First, Nejmeh’s player Mohamed Jaafar who was just returning from a ban, got banned again by the federation, but for a duration of 1 year this time! Jaafar, who made his return against Al Safa coming off the bench, was hit with a red card only a few minutes after he was introduced, causing the federation to impose this ban.
Moreover, the federation banned Al Safa’s player Ali Saadi for 3 games, following his red card against Al Nejmeh, while Mohamed Bakr Younes, who plays for Al Nabi Sheet, was banned for 1 game due to getting his second yellow card in the game.
Also, the federation imposed a 1.5 million Lebanese pounds fine on Al Ansar due to the fans behavior, while Al Nejmeh and Al Safa ended up with 1 million Lebanese pounds fine each also due to fans behavior.
