Champville were very  impressive last time against Riyadi. Every player, starter or coming off the bench, gave everything he got and knew exactly what to do. Most notably were emerging talents, Karl Assi and Youssef Ghantous. Although they did not have much time on the floor, they made the best out of it and proved to be a reliable choice off the bench.

Experienced players as Bassel Bawji and Mazen Mneimneh will surely play a vital role in propelling their team to victory. Bassel is surely a threat to any defense. A big man you can spread the defense, great range and good abilities to penetrate the basket or even post up. Probably Ribal Bechara could be asked to guard him as he guarded Fadi previously or even Edward Bechara, but Bassel has size advantage on the first and speed advantage on the second. While Mazen is known fo his fighting spirit and never giving up on  any ball.

It will be interesting to watch the fight down low as Wendell Lewis take on Darian Townes. Two big men with arguably same playing style. While Lewis may be faster on his feet, Towns showed in his first game that he can be an imposing presence under the rim. Nevertheless, the biggest match-up will be between Patrick Rembert and Geron Johnson. Two guards who like to run a lot and push for the fastbreak. Lightning speed and great ball handling both of them will be hard to stop. Geron can also count on Miguel Martinez next to him to help him move the ball forward as he’s always looking for the open man and has great court vision. Furthermore, it seems that he has developed his offensive abilities, having a higher field goal % and cutting to the rim more.

Last game Louaize played zone defense most of the time as Homenetmen were not hitting their shots at first. This time it could be crazy to play zone against a team with a shooter like Brandon Thomas (4/5 in his last game). A facilitator, a great shooter and great sense of the game, Thomas is a leader on court. Their opponents have a shooter of their own. Elie Stephan is undoubtedly one of the best shooters in this league and will cause headaches for whoever is guarding him.
