06 Dec. 2016 – The young Lebanese swimmer, Marie Khoury, participated in the H2O Short Course Autumn Cup in Doha, Qatar.
450 swimmers from different countries, such as Kuwait, Lebanon, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, UAE, Oman, were participating and Marie was representing Safra Marine club.
Here are her results at the tournament:
1st place in 50m butterfly, finishing in 29.54 seconds and setting a Lebanese record for the 14-15 years old.
1st in 50m backstroke, finishing in 31.06 seconds and setting a Lebanese record for the 14-15 years old.
1st in 100m freestyle, finishing in 59.84 seconds and setting a Lebanese record for the 14-15 years old.
1st in 100m butterfly, finishing in 1:08:19 minute.
1st in 100m backstroke, finishing in 1:09:20 minute.
2nd in 50m freestyle, finishing in 26.82 seconds and setting a Lebanese record for the 14-15 years old (She had the old record).
3rd in 50m breaststroke, finishing in 36.59 seconds.
Khoury also received the silver trophy in the 14-15 years old overall category. Well done Marie!
