12 Dec.2016– In their first home game of the season, Mayrouba host Byblos on Monday night.
Mayrouba will be looking to bring back the image they showed against Sagesse, after a tough loss against Riyadi.

Clik here to view.Their team obviously lack experience. Falling for the same mistake time after time, like when Wael Arakji scored 3 times in a row on the fastbreak with incredible full-court passes from Ismael.
The home team is putting most of their burden on their foreigners. Calvin Cage proved to be on of the best scorers in our league, always finding ways to score. Upshaw should take the ball down low more often and stop receiving it from outside in and this may reduce his TO. Bohannon should take care of his fouls committed as an early foul trouble would put Mayrouba in a tough spot.
Byblos’ imports are clicking into gear. Tucker is being exceptional, the best 3 point scorer in our league with the best %. Jay is always going to be Jay. Creating plays by his own, taking long shots and driving on 2 or more defenders. Ndudi will have a tough task today against 2 big guys blocking his way and he could use everything, Joe Abi Kheres and Ali Kenaan can add to the game, not to be dominated by Mayrouba’s bigs.
Ali Mahmoud and Rodrigue Akl has work to do on both sides of the floor. Carelessness on defense could cost them a lot as Mayrouba do have weapons other than Cage on the wings as Fouad Anati and Tom Ammar can knock shots down.
Matchups are going Byblos’ way as their players have experience on their side. Mayrouba have a tough task to stop the Jbeili team’s players one on one but a zone defense is definitely a bad option against a great shooting team. Elie Nasr must find a way to stop these guys.
Byblos seems to have a slight advantage but don’t count out a resilient and tough Mayrouba side.
