19 Dec. 2016 – The 2nd edition of the Christmas Volleyball Tournament was organized by USJ, with the women’s first division teams participating.
Six clubs in total were competing, Amchit, Club 1875, Kalamoun, Baabda, Chiyah and Sacre Coeur.
From the first group, it was Amchit and Baabda who made it to the semi finals, while Club 1875 & Kalamoun were the ones to make it from the 2nd group.
Then, Kalamoun defeated Baabda 3-0 to set up a final confrontation with Club 1875 who beat Amchit 3-1. In the end, Kalamoun women were crowned champions with a 3-0 victory against Club 1875.
This tournament was held in order to develop the game furthermore in Lebanon so credits must be given to the people running club 1875.
