23 Dec. 2016 – The Lebanese Tennis Federation organized the Lebanese Clubs Championship supported by Mike Sport with the participation of 11 clubs. It was the first time the previous tennis federation organizes such a championship.
In honor of their national champions, Mont La Salle Club has decided to organize a ceremony to show the athletes how proud the club is proud to have them. The players along with their parents attended the event. Prominent names in the game also made it such as Marc Keserwani and Edward Nehme. The club president, Jihad Salameh was present as well and started by saying the opening speech.
In that speech, he congratulated his athletes and expressed his utter pride of adding the title of Lebanese Tennis Champion to the tally of Mont La Salle. As for the president of the federation, he announced that the federation is working on improving and raising the level of Lebanese tennis. He added that the work has already begun, in fact, there will be a training camp for coaches next week with an international coach.
Finally, the champions received a sports suit with the title “Lebanese Tennis Champion 2016” as well as the club’s motto embroidered on it.
