04 Jan. 2017 – The South Korean ambassador Li Yung Man and the counsel Kim Yung Hu visited Mont La Salle club in Lebanon. They attended the national team training session and saw the delegation that took part in the World Youth Taekwondo Championship in Canada last November.
President of Mont La Salle and International Lecturer Jihad Saleme also attended the training session with the president of the Taekwondo federation Habib Zarife and members of the federation.
After welcoming the guests, Habib Zarife revealed the federation’s plan to develop and improve the sport in Lebanon. A protocol between the South Korean Embassy and the Lebanese Taekwondo Federation was presented to the attendees and will be signed from both sides in a press conference on Saturday, January 14 at 6:00 PM in the Metropolitan Hotel in Sin El Fil.
This cooperation can open many doors for the Lebanese athletes abroad especially when it comes to international competitions and training camps.
