10 Jan. 2017 – On Sunday the 8th of January, Bouddha Club Adma organized a Christmas Taekwondo Championship for the colored belts.
This event hosted more than 100 participants from different schools and clubs. In fact, young taekwondo players from Bouddha, Louaize, Sacrés Coeurs, Tigers Club as well as AIS (Antonine International School) took part in the competition.
This event targeted young athletes in order to improve their level and polish their skills. In addition, it was a very well organized event that saw everyone come out victorious. The young promising athletes showed great sportsmanship and maturity.
Furthermore, to kick things up a notch, referees from the federation made sure to be there. Secretary General Master Mark Harb represented the president of the federation Dr. Habib Zarifeh. Was also present at the championship, advisory members of the federation Grand Master Joe Khoury along with Master Ghassan Abou Arraj. Besides, the president of Bouddha Club and President of the judo federation Mr. Francois Saade made an appearance at the event.
At the end of the championship, the federation and the club exchanged tokens of appreciation. Bouddha Team were awarded the token of the best team and AIS took home the token of the Best ethical team.
We hope to see much more championships similar to this one, in order to encourage youngsters to play this game and to improve the skills of the ones who already do.
