12 Jan. 2017- After being appointed as head of the National Team, Coach Joe Moujaes is now the youngest coach to ever lead the national team.

Given his results with the U18, needless to say that the national team is in safe hands now, especially after the return of its Captain, Tiger Fadi El Khatib and the presence of young talented players such as Wael Arakji and Jad Khalil.

Moreover, Coach Joe Moujaes is a European FIBA Certified Coach.

The WABA Championship will take place in Amman, Jordan, from the 29th of January, till the 2nd of February.

The Lebanese roster includes: Wael Arakji, Rodrigue Akl, Jad Khalil, Nadim Souaid, Elie Stephan, Amir Saoud, Fadi El Khatib (C), Elie Rustom, Ali Kanaan, Ali Haidar, Charles Tabet and Ater Majok the naturalized player.

It’s worth mentioning that Lebanon last won WABA Championship in 2015.

We want to wish our Lebanese squad all the best in this championship, may they bring the Gold home.
