14 Jan. 2017 – Homenetmen women face a harsh loss against Riyadi’s women in a game that ended 68-48.
Despite being the current title holders, Homenetmen were not able to clinch the win against a very organized Riyadi. The yellow team was clearly better on all levels and easily clinched the win. It is worth mentioning that these two teams are the top two in their league and the competition between them is extremely tough.
In this faceoff Riyadi had the upper hand and defeated the national champions by 20 points. The women’s team is following in the footsteps of the men’s team who had previously defeated Homenetmen’s men last week.
However, the league has just begun and anything can still happen since all teams are allowed to sign a foreigner in their ranks.
